Think tanks are also becoming more and more essential policy actors and decision supporters in all societies as they assure the scientific process of policy analysis, policy research and decision making.

In this context, the Cabinet Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) initiated the idea of holding an international conference on the role of think tanks in developing countries.
